GDOE Summer School
The Guam Department of Education is holding Summer School for selected Elementary, Middle, and High Schools through the Title V-A Consolidated Grant, from the U.S. Department of Education (Grant Award #S403A150005). There are currently 2,264 students enrolled in the program (1,073 elementary, 266, middle, and 925 high school). Transportation is provided by the Department of Public Works. Updated pick up times and locations are provided in the attachment. Students are encouraged to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to pick up.

We thank you for your patience as DPW Bus Operations coordinates bus services with DOE for GW, JFK, THS, SSHS, SHS, JPT, and OHS Summer programs. This is the first summer school that bus services are being offered at the high school level along with combining high school districts.
Here is the latest information from DPW Bus operations for GW, JFK, and THS district. DPW will be assessing the routes and time and may make changes as needed.
Bus pickup and drop off designated areas, first pickup begins at 6:00 a.m and arrive on campus between 6:45 a.m.-7:00 a.m.

We highly recommend that you utilize the bus services to ensure that your child arrives on time and to avoid traffic congestion. If you prefer to drop and pick up your child you must be on time. We greatly appreciate your support and look forward to a successful summer school.

Orientation at the respective school sites are listed below. Summer School will run from June 7, 2016 through July 12, 2016 for selected elementary and middle schools.
High schools will run from June 7, 2014 through July 19, 2016.
Breakfast will be served to all participants.
